Founded by father and sun duo Paul and Chris Edwards, The Waltzing Matilda is an incredible new pitstop addition — perfect for both those mid-walk refuels and a cosy evening meal out.

The restaurant-barge will move between Stockport and Cheshire along the Macclesfield and Peak Forest Canals, pitching up at different parts of the district to bring residents delicious food, sweet treats and hot drinks.

If truly homemade cooking is your idea of heaven, you’re in for a treat. The restaurant’s pizza dough is made fresh each day using local ingredients to support small businesses.

Eight guests will be able to dine at the restaurant at one time, so if you’re looking for an intimate venue to book your next celebrations — this is it! Set menu bookings are coming soon, so keep an eye out on socials for full details on the pizzeria opening.
